A World Premiere Show for a Good Cause
The Boy Who Brought His Mind To Life is a heartwarming play by children’s author Earnest Lewis, based upon one of his recent children’s books.
The story follows Josiah, a young boy, who is confined to a hospital bed because of a serious illness.. While there, his father visits him and begins reading from an old storybook that his late mother would read from when he was younger.
Through his father’s love and his own imagination, the boy and the audience will be transported to a number of wondrous, magical worlds, where the boy will experience being healed and having loving friends all around him. This is a touching tale for all ages.
This world premiere event is being hosted by the Conyers Creative Kids and will even have a special Red Carpet Event Evening, along with five additional performances, all of which will help benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
